“There’s no doubt about it, duck hunting has been good in both the east and west zones,” agreed Robert Helm, waterfowl study leader with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. “Where there is good habitat, the ducks are concentrated, and the weather up north has helped as well.”
