Well duck season has officially opened. Our lease killed 13 birds on Friday. Eleven mallards and two gadwalls. Not alot flying. I am getting ready to head to the Egg Bowl. I won’t do any hunting until next Saturday.

I am hearing of a fair amount of ducks in the Delta, that is where there is water. Pumps are still running wide open on a lot of leases. The York Woods are reportedly covered. I haven’t seen this myself, but have heard it through fairly reliable sources.
