Record Heat!

I can’t believe this weather. 86 degrees yesterday at Tupelo and it is expected to be 87 today. Hopefully this heat wave won’t last long. On a good note we got almost an inch of rain over the weekend and could receive another shower Wednesday/Thursday.
Waterfowler.com is report a log jam of ducks near the Canadian/US border. Ducks just aren’t migrating further South. Lack of snow and sub-freezing temperatures should keep ducks north of the border. This horrible news for hunters in the Northern Flyways who should be seeing lots of ducks right now and even worse news for hunters in southern states like Texas where the season has already opened.
With all this warm weather you better watch for that ole masked bandit if you out working on blinds. I wouldn’t be suprised to see a cottonmouth or two still hanging around.
