The Duck Hunters Haven

That will be the question for the season unless there is a major change in the weather. After a couple of years of “water water everwhere” the ducks should be easier to find. Hunters with the ability to pump should be looking at a much better year. Ducks have been very spread out over the past few years. They had plenty of places to go, they could basically pick a spot, eat and move on. The lack of rain this year should help keep ducks close to rivers, backwaters, and pumped fields that they haven’t relied on in the past.

I am definitely keeping my fingers crossed that this year will be better than last. But I, like many of you, will probably be in a blind as often as I can, ducks or no ducks.
