Duck season is just around the corner.
2005-06 Season Dates
Ducks (Except Canvasbacks) Nov. 25, 2005-Nov. 27, 2005
Dec. 3, 2005-Dec. 4, 2005
Dec. 6, 2005-Jan. 29, 2006How they came up with this I don’t know. At least we get to hunt the last week of January. My father-in-law just got back from a trip to Canada. He reported plenty of ducks and great hunting conditions there. The DU guy up there said they had a good nesting year. It will be interesting to see if this year is better for us here in MS.

Yeah, it looks crazy, but DWFP tried to give us as many weekends as possible. There was some question on whether or not to close it on Christmas day like we have in the past, but they went ahead and left Christmas open and closed it on that first Monday in December.
Speck starts November 14. Do the rain dance; we need it badly.
