Tim Johnson of Fulton, Mississippi took this monster buck in Hinds County on 12/9/2005. This big seven point weighed in at 305 Pounds and had a 19 inch inside spread. He definitely wasn’t run by dogs to much and that is a rare feat around these parts.

“I killed this buck in Hinds county, hunting on some land owned by Cameron Dinkins who is the owner of Esperanza Outdoors. This buck was the fourth racked buck I saw that morning. I shot him at about 80 yards with a CVA Optima muzzleloader. As you can see the Hornady sabot did some damage on the neck. I have not tried to score him yet, but will hopefully this week. I am also going to let the taxidermist score him as well. Cameron Dinkins,the landowner, owns land in the Delta as well and we duck hunt with Cameron almost every year. I know Cameron through a good friend of mine so I kinda fell into some good hunting places. Cameron guides duck, geese, dove, and deer hunts. He also leases land for duck and deer hunting.” Tim Johnson
