Mississippi waterfowlers know how important having access to Delta duck holes can be.

Beginning this duck season, they have more choices, thanks to recently completed projects that involved cooperation between Ducks Unlimited and either state or federal wildlife officials.

Working with the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, DU helped complete six new impoundments at the Mahannah Wildlife Management Area in Issaquena County.
